How the FieldFire mobile app handles local roster, audio, Apple Music, Spotify, GameChanger, support, and integration information.
Last updated September 26, 2026
Scope
This policy applies to the FieldFire Android and iOS app and the FieldFire integration services it calls. The general FieldFire storefront and Spark privacy policy remains available at field-fire.live/policies/privacy.
Information stored on your phone
The FieldFire app stores team names, player names and numbers, batting order, walk-up song metadata, local playback history, game settings, and integration status in app-local storage. Audio files you explicitly import are copied into the app's local document storage. GameChanger credentials and returned session tokens are stored through operating-system protected secure storage. FieldFire does not use this local information for advertising or tracking.
Spotify
When you search for a Spotify song, the search text, market, result limit, and explicit-content preference are sent over HTTPS to the FieldFire integration service, which requests matching catalog results from Spotify. Playback authorization and control use the installed Spotify app and Spotify's SDK. The FieldFire app does not stream, record, rebroadcast, or store Spotify audio.
Apple Music
When you search for an Apple Music song, the search text, storefront, and result limit are sent over HTTPS to the FieldFire integration service, which requests matching catalog results from Apple. On iOS, authorization, subscription eligibility, and playback use MusicKit and the Apple Account on the phone. FieldFire stores only the selected song metadata, catalog identifier, storefront, and walk-up timing; it does not store Apple Music audio or an Apple Music user token.
GameChanger
When you enable GameChanger, the email, password, verification code when required, session material, selected game identifier, and prior batter context are sent over HTTPS to the FieldFire integration service. The service uses that information to request your authorized teams, games, rosters, game state, and current batter from GameChanger and returns the needed results to your phone. FieldFire does not intentionally persist your GameChanger password or email on the integration service.
Subscriptions and purchases
Apple or Google processes subscription payment information. RevenueCat, acting as FieldFire's subscription service provider, processes an anonymous app user identifier and the product identifier, store transaction or purchase token, subscription status, trial eligibility, renewal and expiration dates, and refund or cancellation state needed to unlock and restore access. FieldFire does not receive or store your payment-card number. RevenueCat's automatic device-identifier collection is disabled, and this purchase information is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking. In the initial release, access is bound to the Apple Account or Google Play account used to subscribe and does not transfer between the two stores.
Service providers
Cloudflare provides network, security, and application processing for the FieldFire integration service. RevenueCat verifies and normalizes store purchase and entitlement state and provides the in-app subscription paywall and customer center. Apple Music, Spotify, and GameChanger process information for the optional features you choose under their own terms and privacy policies. Apple and Google also process app distribution, subscription billing, purchase restoration, secure storage, and device services.
No advertising or tracking
The FieldFire app does not include an advertising SDK, sell personal information, build an advertising profile, or use app data to track you across apps or websites. The current app does not include FieldFire product analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
Children and team rosters
The FieldFire app is designed for adult coaches, team volunteers, announcers, and venue operators. It is not directed to children. Enter only the roster information needed to run the team's audio workflow, follow league and organization requirements, and do not use FieldFire support messages to send unnecessary information about a child.
Retention and security
Local app data remains until you remove it, clear an integration, reset the applicable content, or uninstall the app. Integration requests are protected in transit with HTTPS. FieldFire service providers may retain limited security and operational logs under their normal service settings, but FieldFire does not intentionally log submitted passwords, verification codes, or access tokens.
Your choices and deletion
You can clear the GameChanger account and disconnect Spotify in Settings, remove roster entries, and uninstall FieldFire to remove remaining app-local database and copied audio files. The FieldFire app does not create a FieldFire cloud account. Contact [email protected] to request access, correction, or deletion of information FieldFire controls, subject to identity verification and applicable law.
Changes
FieldFire may update this policy when the app, integrations, or legal requirements change. The published date identifies the current version.
